Considered a knifemaking legend, Jess Horn is primarily known for very high quality, top notch material custom folding knives. Jess Horn has been making knives since 1968 and, while occasionally making fixed blades, he is best known for his investor quality folders, working folders, and collectable period pieces. Jess's linerlock and slip joint folders are typically made with ATS-34 and 154CM stainless steel, and he uses a variety of natural handle materials, though favoring fossil Ivories and Stag for many of his knives. Jess has cut his schedule down to only one show a year and has stopped taking orders, so his knives are hard to find and extremely collectable. He is longstanding voting member of the Knifemakers Guild.
